Monumentul Legilor Constitutionale (Constitutional Laws Monument), known also as Obelisk of the Lions, build by Mihail Sigurov in 1834, after one of Gh. Asachi’s projects. The monument is formed of a 15 meters stone column that lies on the back of 4 lions, symbolizing the four European powers that had accepted the independence of the Romanian Lands
